Product Quantity problem

Hi everyone,

 

The problem is I entered 1 for the quantity for every of my product. But when I test my website, there are two cases:

 

First case: I click add to card for product A, it added to the shopping cart, and If I keep click add to cart, the number of product is increase in the shopping cart.

 

Second case: I click add to cart for product B, the product is added to cart, the page refresh itself and the line " product not found " appear. But when I click back, the product B reappear and I still able to add more of this product to cart.

 

is there anyway to fix it ?

Just want to give more information, if I use the normal check out, it will get back to the my cart page, so I can update the appropriated number of that product. But If I use paypal, everything just go through. So, This is not the oscommerce problem but the paypal module problem right ?

In Admin>> Configuration>> Stock, check to see if you have osCommerce checking the stock level. A FALSE indicator will allow for purchases regardless of stock levels.

 

 

PayPal Express bypasses the normal osCommerce Checkout process so it does not even consider the store stock.

Thank you for your reply, my stock configure is correct :

Check stock : true

Subtract stock: true

Allow checkout : false

 

So that means I can not use the Paypal Express payment right ? is there anyway to work around because I really want to use Paypal for my site. Thanks

You can use another one of the PayPal modules supplied with your installation. A properly configured PayPal standard will work.
