Admin problems - can't add product/manufacturer

Hi all,

 

I have recently came across a problem which I do not quite understand how it occured, since everything was working fine. The problem is that when I add a product or manufacturer via the admin panel then I can't see it being listed in the admin panel, eventhough the entry is present in the database. From what I understand there might be a problem between the communication of the database and the osCommerce admin panel?

 

Does anyone have any idea as to what I might've messed up?
