Discrepancy between Order Process email & Online Invoice

Hi,

I manage a number of OsCommerce website for a number of clients. Just today I had query from a client, where there are discrepancies between the Order Process email, and the online Invoice in the admin side. e.g. order process email states that 2 particular products were ordered, but the admin invoice states only one. Interstingly, the final total in the admin order is correct even though the number of products ordered is not. ANyone come across this before?
