Define Languages does not work

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I had a v.2.3.1 installed. I have some problem with the Define Languages Tool, which seems missing the EDIT and DELETE options.

When I check for the link under the filename, it seems like the following: http://domain.regio/admin/define_language.php?lngdir=english&filename=english/privacy.php'>http://domain.regio/admin/define_language.php?lngdir=english&filename=english/privacy.php

I guess this link should take me to an editor, where I could make changes in privacy.php

However, when I click on that filename (as I said, there are no edit or delete links / icons), then the browser opens up the same page, except in the address-bar the following link appears: http://domain.regio/admin/define_language.php?lngdir=english

So for some reason it did not take the &filename=english/privacy.php

Even though if I directly type in the full link, the address-bar only shows the lngdir=english parameter, and have lost the &filename=.... parameter.

So tha main thing, I AM UNABLE to USE DEFINE LANGUAGE as an EDITOR.

Any suggestion?

thx,

WEBSOLTEAM

This does not answer my question.

I know, I can edit it thru FTP, however, my client liked to have the option to be able to edit thru his admin login.

Now it has been disappeared...

The question is WHY?

And how can I get it back?

thx,

Unfortunately, I always delete this feature on ALL my clients websites because it is not secure.

If you want to allow your client to edit their information pages, then I suggest you install Information Pages Unlimited with a WYSIWYG editor.

Chris
