How and where to edit Meta tag on the website?

Can anyone tell me where I can set the meta tag and keywords of my website on the stylesheet.css page? I am using the osCommerce ver 2.3.1. Thanks.

 

Can I also install the Ultimate_SEO_URLSv22 to my existing site without install the whole site with my hosting company? If yes, how do I install this " adds-on module" on the server side? Please advise. Thank you.

Meta information can be entered ONLY after you have installed an SEO contribution such as Header tags seo. Further, I would also suggest that you install SEO URLS.

 

Download those contributions and you will find the installation instructions contained on how to install and configure them.

Hi Chris,

 

I tried to follow the installation instruction that I got from the Header tag SEO and uploaded application to my server under the root directory of my site. When I try to do the installation on the link: www.funtoyandgadgets.com/headertags_seo_install.php using IE 8.0 and I got an error message as followed:

the 1060 - Duplicate column name 'categories_htc_title_tag'

 

ALTER TABLE categories_description ADD categories_htc_title_tag VARCHAR(80) NULL;

Can you tell me which steps that I did wrong? And how can I fix this?? Thanks.
