visitor web stats not recording url's

i have osc ver 2.3.1 and installed visitors web stats and it seems to be working fine with the exception that its not sending the url of the visitors to the sql database when i go and look at the database tables with myphpadmin in the url field all it has there is http:// what could be wrong?

I recommend using google analytics rather then this module as it will give you many more details.

 

Also in case data is being placed in data base make sure special characters are handled.
