jaimejigga Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Hello, If I edit any part of any product through the back office system as soon as I update the information and view it on my site the title tags for the product suddenly have _p_ and _/p_ placed before and after the tag. (even if you have only added and extra colour, size etc it happens no matter what you change about the product) you are not able to view this when making the adjustment, it only becomes visible when you either view an easy populate file of the tags or view the page on the actual shop website. This is driving me crazy as currently we are updating the prices on our site of around 2000 products. the last thing that I want to do is every time any adjustment is made to a product I have to make sure that my staff also update the title tag of that product separately through easy populate so that the _p_ and _/p_ tags are removed. Even if you just click on the products page and do not update any information the _p_ and _/p_ tags appear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

jaimejigga Posted July 27, 2011 Author Posted July 27, 2011 Read this I have read through the post and it does not solve the issue. Am I correct in assuming that if there are numerous < and > characters in the short description/description/name/model number then they should all change to _'s if the error is the same as mentioned in the link you posted. In my case this only effects the title tag area. The file that is mentioned as being in the incorrect place has not been modified for over 3 years. The error has only occurred in the last couple of weeks so I do not think that it could be the issue mentioned above. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
