Your base problem is that your pages are being displayed in UTF-8, but your "pound sterling" sign was entered in Latin-1 (ISO-8859-1) or possibly Latin-9 (ISO-8859-15) as a different encoding, which doesn't show up in UTF-8. If you can't edit the offending entry (file or database) in UTF-8 mode, changing it to an HTML entity "£" as suggested above is a workable alternative. It will take up 5 more bytes than a "native" binary character, but that's a nit unless your pages are filled with thousands of pound signs.

Hi

Cool thank you

It's working again in the site itself

but in Paypal when Paypal pay for the item, it still has a funny looking A in the site

How can I resolve that so it displays a £ sign

Thank you

Ian
