I have some ideas on features that can be implemented to get a very good customer loyalty. But I luck the php skills to develop them (asp guy). Customer Discount I saw a new post on customer discount. It is a very good idea that can with some little work get much better. Give the discount based on history of purchases - "club pricing" - give customers a discount based on total of purchases amount made in last X months. For instance a customer that made X $ purchases in the last 6 months get a fixed discount on all purchases. It will promote the shop and cause customers to prefer buying in that shop and not buy anything in other competing shops. Group Sales I would have liked a feature that will enable a customer to buy as part of a group that can buy a total of X pieces of a specific products. Such sale will be closed on specific day or when the total quantity of that products was sold. Free shipping for 2(or more) eligible products in cart This is like the free shipping in Amazon and barns and noble. It gives you the ability of not charging the customer for shipping - which they always are happy. It is also good when you want to sell your own exclusive products on other selling points with out competing your dealers. Quote shipping in shopping cart Let the customer get used to shipping charges before getting into the checkout process - by the way this is the place where most of them leave the shop with out completing the purchase. Allow special price for item on checkout process This is good when you want to give a customer that made X dollar purchase add a specific product when he starts the checkout process - like candies near the cashier in a regular shop. Let them feel it is a good and wise decision to add the product on the way out. Product combinations 2 for less... 1+1 in special price... group of products as a kit for special price...
