Easy Populate not appearing in Catalog

Anyducks

Recommended Posts

Installed and followed directions.

updated /catalog/admin/incudes/boxes/catalog.php with 'Easy Populate' line 25.

Does not show in catalog list.

I'm new to php and looks like its a comment in notepad++

help with the proper syntax....

array(

'code' => FILENAME_PRODUCTS_ATTRIBUTES,

'title' => BOX_CATALOG_CATEGORIES_PRODUCTS_ATTRIBUTES,

'link' => tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCTS_ATTRIBUTES)

),

Should there be a link to Easy_populate?? An example or copy of a working catalog.php??

Thanks

You missed a step during installation.

Right after the code you posted you should be adding this:

array(

'code' => 'easypopulate.php',

'title' => 'Easy Populate',

'link' => tep_href_link('easypopulate.php')

),

Ok after spending all day working and searching finally got this Easy Populate Working, I hope to God it was worth it and I don't have to go to look for something else to upload large inventories. For the benefit of others I've posted my /admin/includes/boxes/catalog.php & /admin/easypopulate.php files I do have a mod on my catalog file with brand added (one line) but they should serve as guidance for a working set which is what I was dying to find. I think my main problem was the version so check your oSc version in application_top.php to make sure you have the right Easy Populate (EP_v2_77a) listed. The stuff listed is for oSc v2.2 RC2a Hope this helps. On to secure the site now...Cheers

P.S: Be sure to Back/Back/Back before you make any changes..
