No VAT text in 2.3.1

Anyone know a solution to this problem?

Where can I find the VAT text? It´s missing and I can´t find it anywhere.

It doesn´t show no mather what language I chose. VAT works and calculates

perfect but the textline VAT is missing, in Checkout, admin and invoice.

MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_TAX_TITLE and MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_TAX_DESCRIPTION in the

different language files for modules/order_total/ot_tax doesn´t work.

I even put those difine-lines in the language files but still no luck or a

clue what to do.

This is an ex. of what it looks like:

---------------------------

Sub-Total: 200,00

Zone Rates: 140,00

: 34,00

Total: 374,00

---------------------------

I use OsC 2.3.1 , SPPC 4.2.2 for OsC 2.3.1 and Agree2Terms 1.7.1 and I´m in

desperate need of help. Anyone?

Tip for missing text lines:

Whatever page you are on with missing text but the call code is there (i.e. MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_TAX_TITLE) look at your url to see what file is being used (e.g. ...../index.php?.....) then go to the language file of the same name to insert it. If there is no language file for the file you have open then the text is probably required in the 'language'.php file

My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0

I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 )

I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary

Hi Xpajun.

Thanks for trying to help me solv the problem. Yes, normaly the text

line comes from the url pages languages php file.

Apparently not this time.

Each language file, including the original English, is checked and

contains the define line for MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_TAX_TITLE and

MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_TAX_DESCRIPTION.

I pasted them in to the original language file (english.php) as a test

but nothing works.

I don´t know if this ever worked because I installed a fresh copy of

2.3.1 and then installed the mentioned contributions.

Maybe you have any further information to share that I can test.

All information is greatly appreciated.

Len, do you have an add on that is calling for this text? - standard osC 2.3.1 uses the following defines:

define('TABLE_HEADING_TAX', 'Tax');
define('TABLE_HEADING_TOTAL', 'Total');
define('TABLE_HEADING_PRICE_EXCLUDING_TAX', 'Price (ex)');
define('TABLE_HEADING_PRICE_INCLUDING_TAX', 'Price (inc)');
define('TABLE_HEADING_TOTAL_EXCLUDING_TAX', 'Total (ex)');
define('TABLE_HEADING_TOTAL_INCLUDING_TAX', 'Total (inc)');

**SOLVED**

Yes I had those defines. I first started by copying those defines and pasted them in different language files. Switched between different languages and checked all the scripts carefully. Looking for any problems that could cause this. Nothing...

Uninstalled the ot-module and sent all the files again, reinstalled everything, and now it works.

Thank you for your interest in helping me. Much appreciated!
