LordBVT Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Hello, I have a 2.2-MS2 store that is completely broken on our new hosting provider. I would like to some how do a fresh install (of newest version) and just copy my products and categories. Any one know of an easy way to do this / be willing to do this as a contractor? My client is very upset and I am at a loss. The 2.2-MS2 version is basically a stock install... Thanks for any help.
multimixer Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Best is, you take a fresh 2.3.1, transfer the relevant data (order, customers, products etc), reinstall any addons/do any modifications and finally redesign the store To copy the old data to a new DB is not that hard, export them both into a sql file and then use a file comparison tool to transfer any structural DB changes from the new DB to the old, keeping the data of the old Regarding contractor, it is against the forum rule to discuss such things, so contact in private anyone you like, there are several forum members that can do this quickly and correct My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
