Help with stylesheet instructions

Recommended Posts

I'm installing a mod but I am very new at this and dont understand the following instructions - can someone tell me what this means, and how I do it?

step 2.catalog/stylesheet.css <---------------the file to be editted

a).add css selector <---------------this line - this is whats confusing me

add and of bottom <---------------this line (I'm guessing this means "add at bottom of style sheet")

ul.column{ <---------------below here I assume is the content I need to add

width: 618px;

padding: 0;

margin: 10px 0;

list-style: none;

}

ul.column li {

float: left;

width: 206px; /*Set default width*/

padding: 0;

margin: 5px 0;

display: inline;

}

.block {

height: 300px;

font-size: 1em;

margin-right: 5px; /*Creates the 10px gap between each column*/

padding: 5px;

background: #fff;

border: 1px solid #a6c9e2;

border-radius: 5px;

-moz-border-radius: 5px;

-webkit-border-radius: 5px;

}

.block h2 {

font-size: 1.8em;

}

.block img {

/*Flexible image size with border*/

padding: 5%;

background:#fff;

margin: 0 auto;

display: block;

-ms-interpolation-mode: bicubic; /*prevents image pixelation for IE 6/7 */

}

Leo,

In simple terms, open the stylesheet.css, add the new block class to the end of the file, save the file and upload it back to your server.
