email contact form issue

Okay,I created this

On the same page I have created a email contact form that the customer can complete. You can test it, but when the user presses the send form, a Internet Explorer message comes up telling the user,"submitting this form will reveal your email address.....when you bypass this by pressing ok, your email software comes up, eg. outlook express. What I am looking to do is have to all automated similar to the way contact_us.php works - seamless!

This is what my code looks like. It is very basic as it is a pretty simple form, but if anyone can give me advice how it can be automated and is it possible to incorporate code that ensures the emails is trigerred without any ie prompts and/or email software popping up. It worls lilke that with contact_us.php

Thanks Tim. This code is going into an existing php file, so I am not exactly how formtoemail.php

Also, where would my email address where the email must go, i.e. [email protected], go.

I read the piece re. email address insertion, did not make sense to me?

I got it to work.

A few things;

 

1 Did you tweak the form, eg. additional fields, change layout or are you unable to?

2. Once the user enter the data and send the email, this screen appears (test being the name I used)

I will play around with the form tomorrow and see if get lucky...
