I have a few successful, and nicely tailored osCommerce shops, but now I have a customer who wants online bookings and reservations as well as a shop to sell products. I am playing with an installation now, and slowly getting to grips with the configuration for the events, but they don't appear on the integrated calendar when on the event's main menu. I click the date of the test event as a customer, and the details will apear (just like a regular product in osCommerce, really), but I just don't see the package delivering all it promises at the moment! There is no support site any more, and I can't find any other forums discussing it, but I can't believe there isn't someone using it with a degree of success given its similarity to osCommerce. Constructive comments warmly welcomed! I'd be happy to set up and host a forum for it if anyone here would like to throw around some ideas and code.* Regards, Andy. *My apologies if offering to host a forum for anyone wishing to help develop the system further is against any rules here. Chris Unfortunately there isn't though, Chris, which is why I have posted here. I hope I've not broken any rules, and as I say, would be happy to set up an independant forum if anyone else is using it or would like to help develop it a little. It won't ever be replacing osCommerce which I use for all my other shops, but for this one particular job it would be perfect, given that there do not seem to be any decent events booking contributions for osCommerce. The core code is clearly osCommerce, but quite extensively modified, as I am sure you already know. If I were a good enough coder I would try and pluck the bookings module out of it to add to a "pure" install of osC, but unfortunately I am not, so I need to explore other avenues. I know osComRes isn't officially supported here, but searches suggest other members have tried it, but have also suffered from the lack of support. Maybe they are still active on here, and are successfully using it still. If that's the case, I'd love to hear from them. Once again, if this topic is outside of the osCommerce rules, then please feel free to delete it or lock it so it slips away from memory! If it's only locked and someone consequently finds it in a search though, it would be nice if they can see it and PM me.
