Guest
is there a review system, where the user can be a guess, or allow comments for people not logged. Thanks
germ
If you allow reviews by anyone other than a registered customer they will eventually get spammed by a wandering bot that searches the web 24/7/365 for just such vulnerabilities. Don't even think about it. Just like you don't ever want the "Tell a friend" feature to be anyone other than a registered customer. If you do a bot will use your site as a "spam engine" and your host will shut you down. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. germ
I have seen sites that allow guests to do things like "Tell a friend" and "Write a review". They use a "recaptcha" to minimize the risks presented by wandering spam-bots. That's all fine and good, at least until the spam-bots get good enough to crack the recaptcha. And I'm sure there are many coders around the world furiously working on just such code every day... :'( Personally I'd still reserve such activities to registered customers only.
