Padholdr Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 I have a new site and it was running fast on the site, and on the back end, however lately it is horribly slow. I have a lot of categories and about 1500 products. I've seen some updates, I just don't know if they will work with my version. Can someone please help me with this issue? I am running version 2.3.1 Since a lot of my products are linked, I actually have about 2500 items, but by looking on this forum, thats's nothing compared to most of the people on here. These problems ask for database experts and not only osCommerce. Table optimisations is not an easy job. but first of all you need some bug fixing in admin site. osCommerce 3 wont be table optimisated but will be easy update something or add optimisation extends. osCommerce based shop owner with minimal design and focused on background works. When the less is more.Email managment with tracking pixel, package managment for shipping, stock management, warehouse managment with bar code reader, parcel shops management on 3000 pickup points without local store.
