Category Names in Two Languages

I am having a certain problem installing the English version a shop from 2003.

 

I have installed the language upon a catalog in Spanish.

 

Everything goes fine but the category names.

 

After naming each category in Spanish and English (the same as in the case of the products), in the Category Box, the link titles are in Spanish or English depending on your decision clicking the flag. But when you enter a category, the title is in Spanish in any case. It doesn't change to English.

 

The problem is just in the case of category names because the product names are right.

 

I think that there must be some kind of problem with the database. I am not sure.

 

I have tried everything with no result.

 

Please, some advice or clue.
