Help with Discount Code Module

Hi

 

I'm almost there after installing the discount code module, when I'm in my oscommerce site and under modules- I can try to install it but get this error message

Fatal error: Class 'ot_discount' not found in /home/flishclo/public_html/admin/modules.php on line 47

 

Under Catalog I get this error message when I click on the discount

 

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _sess_open() (previously declared in /home/flishclo/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php:23) in /home/flishclo/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 23

 

I've had so many issues even to get this far- am I better off deleting it and starting all over again? If so how do I do this and how do I get the correct code? I see a few people are having the same issues..

 

I'm using version 2.3.1

Can any one pretty please help me? Willing to learn how to do it, have tried over and over again.. at this point I'm looking into a company to even do it for me! please please help if you can.

 

No matter how many times i take out the code and try again theres always an error message.
