phonegadget Posted June 12, 2011 Share Posted June 12, 2011 Hi everybody I have a urgent issue at my shop OSCommerce Version 2.2 RC2. I have 4000 products and the product listing is beginning to be very slow. I had a look at the sql and its like it gets product description, manufactures and so on.I dont need that on the product listing page and it makes a lot of sql queries. The new products page works fine and thats kind of strange. Is there anybody who can help me optimize the product listing sql / page. If your admin is still named "admin", and it isn't protected behind a .htaccess file, and you haven't removed the file_manager and define_language files in the admin, there is a better than average chance that site security has been compromised. :blush: You might compare your current security status to what is suggested at the link below: How to Secure Your Site If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
