bbworld
Hi We are trying to install a new module which will allow us to edit the meta information for each product listing (www.bbworld.co.uk) but we had one installed by our previous website managers which our new person can't install as he says the previous one has been partly installed or installed then removed. Does anyone know if this is a common situation or if it can be resolved easily? We are at a dead end wanting to install a SEO module to improve our rankings but are being told we can't and we can't work with our current installation. I'm afraid we no longer have a relationship with our previous website managers so we are unable to go back to them for more information. Many thanks for any help in advance. All I know about the previous/current installation is that the name of the product gets transferred to the URL e.g. if our product was a blackberry pocket, the URL might be like bbworld.co.uk/blackberry-pocket etc... multimixer
Anything that got installed can be unistalled - and - Anything that is not installed can be installed Both can be done from any previous, current or future "website managers" as long they know what they're doing From what you say you have/had a SEO_URL addon installed, there are a couple of them existing. So, in worse case, if you can not identify what you have installed, just install an other one and thgough out any garbage left over from previous installations Edit: from what I see it work for products but not for category listings, so maybe there is no problem but just a question of settings?
