Guest
Rick, It would be helpful to know exactly what you did and where? Also, is this the 2.2CVS or MS! version?
beachboy
This is from the FAQ's and I was following these instructions: Where Can I Edit The Greeting Text On The First Page? Because this file is being called from default.php, you can edit the greeting text in each language file at: catalog/includes/languages/<language>/default.php. Also pay attention to the file /catalog/includes/languages/<language>.php. In this file you can edit the one-line welcome/greeting text for costumers and guests. Guest
If you look at the default page in your browser it also has instructions. The text shown here can be modified in the following file, on each language basis: [path to catalog]/includes/languages/[language]/default.php. That can be edited manually, or via the Administration Tool with the Languages->[language]->Define option, or by using the Tools->File Manager feature. So, the question now, is what did you change? Why not post a copy of the sections you changed?

That is what I'm doing and now just got this error message: Define Language EnglishDeutschEspa?ol english.php Warning: dir( /home/beachboy/public_html/catalog/includes/languages/english) [function.dir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/beachboy/public_html/configure/define_language.php on line
