Left and right menu not showing

Hello Everyone,

I recently built a server with osCommerce 2.3.1 and I imported the database from and old (unknown) version and did many fixes but now, the left and the right menu (categories, manufacturers, etc...) are not appearing on the site but they do in the admin control panel; a look in the source code show that the admin's SQL query is different from the one of the main site but I haven't been able to track down where the error is except that the products_attributes table is empty (it is not in the default site).

 

1-: Is there any way to fill out the products_attributes table with other tables in the database?

 

2-: For the left and right menu, where in the database I can look for errors? I already looked with a fine comb the categories table, the categories_description and the products_to_categories tables and there is no errors.
