local testing and setup

Hi

 

I tend to do all of my development on a wamp test server before uploading to the remote web.

 

If I do this I clealry cannot just ftp up my local site.

 

What I have donein the past is install on both local and remote and then just upload changed files when I have altered them.

 

Is this the correct way
