images forbidden

Images are not stored in the /includes/languages/ directory. The are store in the /images directory. If you have images in the /includes/languages/ directory, remove them.

The button images are stored farther up that branch of the folder tree.

 

If you are gettting a "Forbidden" error when accessing them directly the .htaccess in the /includes folder is normally the culprit.

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

Buttons in v2.3.1 are CSS, only the old buttons are stored in the languages folder and are no longer used. (to the best of my knowledge)

Even 2.3.1 uses the currency flag and the quick find buttom stored there.
