dasha542 Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 I am a newbee. I have recently taken on a Online store. Which I have installed a Template. However when I go through the Setup to connect to MY SQL it fails with the Following error. Access denied for user 'dasha542_xxx'@'xxxxx.hostp.com' (using password: YES) xxx's are in case i am not suposed to identify the Web Hosting company. I opened a ticket with them and they tell me i am to contact OSC. Have created a new DB with a new user and Password with the same result. Have tried the domain Name and the IP as well. Guest Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 I suggest contacting the template creator for support. If that fails, you may have to MANUALLY install the templated osCommerce store.
