Creating a package of plug ins that work together

I have a pretty good idea of what functionality I need in my store, but I am concerned about 1. getting all the contributions to work together and 2. a contribution have a security hole that I am unable to spot because I have very little php experience. So I was thinking that if I made a list of what I need functionally others might have a suggestion of what has safely worked for them, plus what functions I might be overlooking, which would be able to serve as a guideline for me now and for other seeker in the future :) Please note, I am not asking anyone to my work for me. I have spent the last 3+ weeks spending hours a day reading through hundreds (if not thousands) of contributions, support forum topics, etc getting a feel for what will and will not work. Plus I have built a test store to try out different elements with. One of the downsides of OSC is that it has been around for so long, so there are often thousands of responses and instructions that are no longer relevant and recommendations of plug ins that are no longer developed. This makes for hours upon hours of reading and research that winds up to ultimately have been a waste. So like I said, I'm not asking anyone to do my work for me, just looking for people to say "hey, I got these x things you listed to work together safely using these addons, you might also want to consider x" Thanks!

- one page checkout

- guest checkout

- Paypal Website payments pro

- Google checkout (if it won't interfere with paypal WPP as my primary checkout)

- Google sitemap (my main page used wordpress software with a link out to the store on the domain. Will the sitemap I already set up grab my OSC products as well, or do I need a separate sitemap for the store?)

- ability to do weekly updates of 7,000+ products via CSV (Easy Populate seems to be the tool for this)

- add a field for ISBN (to be compliant with google base) that will be recognized by Easy Populate and Google product search

- Coupon codes

- Special customer pricing (like one price for retail and a different price for wholesale customers)

- Feed catalog to Google product search

- Facebook exposure (Facebook Store for osCommerce v1.0 (Social eCart) or Facebook - eCommerce Shop Browser? A different one?)

- Live help system

- Wishlist feature

- Newsletter (I know OSC comes pre-installed with a basic newsletter, but what addon will increase my functionality for this?)

- Point/Reward program for customer loyalty

- Store credits (which will be auto applied during next purchase)

- Downloadable products (I have a few ebooks I want to add to my catalog)

Sandy,

- one page checkout

- guest checkout

One Page Checkout, and Purchase without Account......can be used together, but quite often the checkout process becomes 'quirky'.

- Paypal Website payments pro

(no problem)

- Google checkout (if it won't interfere with paypal WPP as my primary checkout)

(no problem)

- Google sitemap (my main page used wordpress software with a link out to the store on the domain. Will the sitemap I already set up grab my OSC products as well, or do I need a separate sitemap for the store?)( I suggest using Google Site Map from within your osCommerce store so you can generate and submit a new sitemap when you update your products)

- ability to do weekly updates of 7,000+ products via CSV (Easy Populate seems to be the tool for this)

(no problem)

- add a field for ISBN (to be compliant with google base) that will be recognized by Easy Populate and Google product search

(use Extra Product fields, ensure you enable EPF in your Easy Populate configuration. OR Use the Model field and change the language to say ISBN)

- Coupon codes

(I suggest contribution 4269)

- Special customer pricing (like one price for retail and a different price for wholesale customers)

(I could be wrong but I don't think SPPC is available for v2.3.1)

- Feed catalog to Google product search

(Google Base Feeds, contribution 7978)

- Facebook exposure (Facebook Store for osCommerce v1.0 (Social eCart) or Facebook - eCommerce Shop Browser? A different one?)

(no recommendation)

- Live help system

(there are several available to chose from)

- Wishlist feature

(there is no current wishlist contribution for 2.3.1)

- Newsletter (I know OSC comes pre-installed with a basic newsletter, but what addon will increase my functionality for this?)

(no recommendation, I never use or recommend using Newsletter manager in OSC)

- Point/Reward program for customer loyalty

(no recommendation)

- Store credits (which will be auto applied during next purchase)

(no recommendation)

- Downloadable products (I have a few ebooks I want to add to my catalog)

(Super Download Store, contribution 7783)
