Hi, I have have a music shop. The music files are protected by Amember, and I use OSC as an info site simply showing the Album Art, Tracklist etc.

Is there a way to offer those download links inside of OSC? So when I add a new product, there is an option to add the http download link and have it display on product_info as a click-able download now button?

thank you!

Don,

osCommerce is fully capable of displaying your track information, allowing music clips to be listened to and allowing the download of the music track. I am not sure what the correlation is between Amember and your website but you can achieve a fully functional download site just by using osCommerce and available contributions.

Thanks Chris,

Well Amember protects the directory of music, and handles PayPal and just general account management. I don't use any account management features from OSC.

Right now, mysite.com/mixtapes is where all the music is stored in ZIP files.

I wish to be able to (when adding a new product in OSC) add a link to mysite.com/mixtapes/file.1.zip and have each download link displayed on product_info.php as either a clickable link or clickable button.

Thanks!

Don,

As I said, there is no need to have that external anything as osCommerce is fully capable of doing everything that you currently pay Amember to do.

You could modify and use "manufacturer url" to achieve this....
