Shipping Problem

Have had some customers say they cannot select shipping when they try and checkout and only get the option for pickup from store

I think its because they are not entering their address details in the "my account information" page and they cant figure out how to go back and reenter their address properly when they get to the shipping page

I'd like to make the address fields "required information" to see if this is creating the problem

At the moment the only required fields are " first name", "last name", "email address", "telephone number", "password", and "password confirmation"

I have true set on "suburb" and "state" in customer details in admin but I'm assuming this only for displaying the field and not setting it as required

Also assuming that the required fields need to be set with a true/false statement in PHP somewhere

Can anyone help me out with this and point me to the right files to adjust?

Nick,

In a standard installation of osCommerce.....the address fields ARE required. If you have altered the create_acount.php to NOT designate these fields as required, then you should restore your backup of the file.

Haven't altered the create_account.php file at all

Have also just noticed that sometimes when you click on checkout from the product its directing straight to the shipping info page rather than the create account page
