Do you mean the order number that is automatically assigned to each order?

Create a dummy order, then go into your database and change the order id for that order to whatever number you want your sequence to start with (i.e. 2000). The next order placed will be 2001.

As far as I know, it must be digits only - I don't think that auto-increment can accept letters.

In your osC database:

TABLE: orders

FIELD: orders_id

You are looking at the orders table, click "browse". That will show you the contents of the table. Then you can edit the #.

Personally, I create an order then edit *all* order tables and change the orders_id number I made to the new orders_id number so everybody matches up.

But that is just me ...

Assuming that you're using phpMyAdmin:

Click on "orders" in the left column, choose "Browse" from the toolbar at the top, find the dummy order that you placed, click on "edit" and then change the "Value" in Field "orders_id" to what you want your starting order number to be, then select "Save" and "Go" at the bottom of the page.

At the bottom there is a box 'Search All Available' and an empty box.

Drop the 'all available' box.

Select either 'names begins' or 'name contains'

Enter the member name - all or part as per slection above.

Click GO

All matching members will be displayed

Click on the member you want, then click on find all posts

Long winded but it does work.
