july311 Posted May 18, 2011 Share Posted May 18, 2011 I have the Discount Coupon Codes installed on my osCommerce store and it is functioning perfectly. However, we would like to run a promotion for 50% of ONLY ONE of our products. Currently, I do not see a way to do this with Discount Coupon Codes -- I can apply a 50% discount to the entire order total, or a fixed amount off the order total or shipping total. Does anyone know a workaround, modification, or another contribution that could achieve a 50% discount only on a single item in the store? SLiCK_303 Posted May 18, 2011 Share Posted May 18, 2011 There seems to be several contributions with that same general title, the one I use is http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4269 , which you can pick product, category, manufacture, ect, exclusions, thus you would simply exclude all products but the one you want it to work on.... I am using the contribution you referenced -- I hadn't realized that product exclusions were a setting you could only set AFTER the coupon code was created, and I was stuck baffled at not seeing the option on the initial creation page. I am trying to install into a fresh 2.3.1 and it is not working. So, wondering if some other people out there experiencing the same issue with what i faced here.
