Donyardie
Hi, recently I made up my first store with OScommerce. Few problems appeared after installation, which have been almost all PHP-errors...so I fixed them on my own. I thought firstly my problem which I have now is also a PHP problem, but its not, because after I fixed everything, it still doesnt works: I cant't change ANYTHING in the Admin-portal. Not the name, not the navigation, NOTHING. What is it, and how I can fix it? Thanks alot!
KDM
What version osc? Have you checked your error logs? Have you added any contributions on the admin side?

KDM
2.2 Error Logs...nothing I use a template for the site, so I dont know exactly. Thanks! I don't use a template myself, something I will be looking into. I've heard that people do sometimes have different trouble with templates. If your template is from a contribution a lot of times they have a forum in place for it. Check that forum if they do for your problem. Another thing you can try is a google search entering in the search text box. site:www.oscommerce.com/forums [you search parameters go in here] More times than not you will get better results using google this way as compared to a oscommerce forum search. Donyardie
Hi, thanks to your replies! But still, I didn't found anything what could help me. So still I can't change ANYTHING in my Adminportal :(
multimixer
Well, since you use a template, maybe the template maker could help.... What do you mean when you say "you can't change anything". What name? What navigation? It could be for example that the "navigation" is hardcoded somewhere in your files (probably includes/header.php), in this case there are no admin settings, and also the "navigation" will not react on any new categories etc you add. So, what is your navigation showing, what do you change and what do expect to see? The name: be concrete, do you mean the store name?: So you add a new store name and expect it to see on the store front, right? Where exactly? Does the store name change in admin, I mean does it get "saved"? The more concrete you are, the more somebody will be able to help My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
Donyardie
Hi, thanks for your reply. Sorry I wasnt concrete enough. Now THIS is what I mean. On the right you see the "Edit" button, it doesn't makes anything, I can press it as much as i want, and I can't choose anything in the middle to change, neither on the navigation on left. Shortly: I can't make anything in this Adminportal. Greetings
