We have 2 ecommerce sites now and are looking to build a further 2 by christmas and heres the problem....we currently use PayPals IPN for both sites which means we have to have 2 banks accounts! by the time we get to Christmas we are going to have to have 2 more bank accounts! now all the sites sell simalar products but we are focusing on branded name websites...Is it possible to have say 3 of the sites refering to our main website and allow that site to handle all payments form each ecommerce site?? Guest Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 John, Why would you need more than ONE bank account ? Or, for that matter more than ONE PayPal account ? You can have 10 websites all using the same PayPal IPN module, all having the same bank account affiliated with them. The ONLY change you need to make is to ensure that each website uses a unique invoice number so you don't have a conflict. Giving your invoices a prefix usually prevents this issue. Site A would have a process an invoice number like A12345 and site B would process an invoice number like B12345, etc etc. Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
