Site using full-size images - not scaling.

Hi guys,

I'm new to OSCommerce and have managed to get myself completely stuck.

www.nzbags.com

The site is almost complete, but when you click on any of the categories, or "New Products" on the top menu then the images are not scaled down to thumbnail size and this messes up the whole look of the site.

Which files do I need to edit to fix this?

Where should I start searching?

Thanks.

I looked at your site, overall I thought it was good.

I'm not sure you need to do anything to your files at this point. Have you tried your admin section configuration-images. There you can try different settings. If that doesn't satisfy you check out some of the contributions that deal with images, perhaps there is one there that will help you.

Be sure you write down the default settings for the images just in case you want to go back to them.

Thanks Kerry,

All the other posts I find relate to images not scaling properly and distorting the thumbnails. Mine are all exactly 400x500, so they scale to 100x80 perfectly with no loss of quality. The problem though is that when you try to browse a category, it all goes out of whack, and the images are not scaled at all, so they all appear as a single column at full size (not resized to thumbnail).

I'm looking for the image_scale call, or a width=xxx height=xxx, that relates to these images, but I can't figure out where to start. I've sifted through the index.php, and several of the other php files, but none of the changes that I've made relate to these images - I just end up stuffing up other elements of the site.

Which files should I be editing?

Thanks Nick, problem solved.

Sometimes when you've been hitting your head against a wall for too long, there's just no way to see the obvious solution on your own.

You guys are great.
