rogertom
I have existing eCommerce site with Yahoo Merchant Solution. I am going to build a new ecommerce website with osCommerce software. I am trying to register a new domain name with Yahoo to host the new web site. The new domain name is just for the purpose of testing of the new web site. But eventually I am going to give up the old web site and use the web site built with osCommerce. My question is can I switch back to my old domain name. Any suggestion?
multimixer
Not clear what kind of suggestion you need First, you don't need to register a new domain, if it is just for testing. Make a new folder (eg /test/) on your server and upload and install osCommerce to there. So it will be at yourdomain.com/test/ From there on you need to make clear if you like the new store and if you want to use it. If yes, it's very easy to place it to the root of your server (yourdomain.com) otr into any other folder (yourdomain.com/store) My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
Guest
Roger, As long as you own and control the domain name, you can point it wherever you want, anytime you want. Chris
