Kiray
Hello everybody! At the moment I'm building my first online shop with osC and I pretty much got everything running until I installed this : ttp://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5750 version of the MATC contribution. I had do to this because I live in Germany and here it's part of our law that there has to be such a confirmation before any order can be placed. I had to improvise when installing the Contrib because there was no version available for my shop version (osC 2.3.1) but I only did minor changes. The thing is now everything works in Firefox but when I checked in Windows Internet Explorer I realized that wether the checkbox to confirm Terms & Conditions is checked or not, clicking on "Next" doesn't work anymore. So I am no expert in differences between browsers and I still couldn't a solution. I already asked in the german forum but till today (and is had been some weeks now) nobody could help me. So I thought I should try my luck here :) Thank you in advance, Kristina

I often search as it is usually better than using the search text box in the forums. You search line would look something like: site:www.oscommerce.com/forums [your question here. you may have to try different ways to phrase it.] I would also check the french forum as that is where the contributor and forum is located if you can understand their language or have google possibly translate the page?? (Don't know about this)
Kiray
Thank you :) I tried it with your google idea but I'm still searching. (Sadly when I search for MATC and IE problematics google only finds MY questions about it lol XD) I kinda dropped the topic to give more time for people to answer but perhaps it's just a problem noone has experienced yet. Unfortunately I'm not good at french... perhaps I'll try anyway if this could help. Thank you again! :)
shapp
I was having the same problem - I managed to get it working in Firefox just fine (I even used your instructions to install posted with the MATC downloads). Internet Explorer 8 wouldn't work - just the "Object doesn't support this property or method" message. I made this change, and now I still get the error message, but the terms and conditions functionality works. html_output.php -> tep_draw_button function Changed: $button .= '</span><script type="text/javascript">$("#tdb' . $button_counter . '").button('; To: $button .= '</span><script type="text/javascript">jQuery("#tdb' . $button_counter . '").button('; Not sure yet if there are any other unintended consequences, but it still works in FF.
twjnorth
I tried to install the MATC 2.3.1 version (contribution 8205) but it doesnt seem to work if using paypal as the payment method (and Paypal is the only method i have right now). After going to Paypal site, it returns back to the confirmation_shipping page and says matc must agree to terms error. I couldnt find a forum for http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8205 , so thought i'd ask on this one as it's related Any suggestions as to what needs to be fixed in OSC 2.3.1 so that it works with paypal ? Thanks in advance Trevor
