Akram,

You don't need a control panel to install osCommerce. All you need is access to your databases and an FTP client. Although some hosting providers offer 'one click' installations, they have been known to complicate the installation and leave the store owner confused.

You can download osCommerce 2.3.1 here and quickly install it in about 15 minutes or less.

Hi Chris,

Do I need first to create a new database using MySQL in my control panel, then FTP client?

Akram,

Yes, creating a new DB first is always a good idea as usually it takes hosting providers up to 30 minutes to create them.

:o :o :o So glad I don't use your hosting providers Chris :o :o :o

My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0

I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 )

I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary
