kori80 Posted April 28, 2011 Share Posted April 28, 2011 I simply wanna display a category and its products on the front page instead of the new products added. I`ve been searching for it all day and find posts that are similar but they pick their own products to be displayed from different categories. Like featured products which is a contrib..but my case is very simple, I shouldnt need a contrib to get the job done. I look at the file but my knowledge couldn`t find anything related to my problem. Shouldnt I be making changes in the index.php file to display the category I want in the front page instead of new products added? or..I could find a way to make new_products.php display only the items from the category that I want..or will it mess up things...Grrr..It should be simple to show a category on front page instead of the dam new products!
