Ian
MS1 moved the setting for adding tax by default to the admin panel. Is this how you are setting it. Trust me, I'm an Accountant.

Ian
I've tested this on a clean MS1 installation, and a L5 installation and it works as advertised. What is your tax set up. Trust me, I'm an Accountant.

toolcrazy
I think I have figured out your problem, well, maybe. You have to be login under your tax zone. IE if you live in New York It will display price with tax. But, if you live in say, Washinton. And login, it won't show priceds with tax. It used to be where it would show all prices with tax, but enough people complained so it was changed. I never used the option, so I forgot about it. XtremeCarAudio
I found is very confusing for customers Plus you could potentally lose sales since your prices would appear to be atleast 8% higher to NY customers Since most online shops dont display prices with tax already included Michael
