Guest
I am looking for an order or magnitude here, I realize it changes with product complexity and hardware. At what point would you say osCommerce is not a good fit, one thousand? 20 thousand? 100 thousand, a million products? Keep in mind the need to search for, add, alter and maintain the products. I imagine the designers have a development specification. If you are supporting over a thousand items, you can't have a drop-down box listing all product names. Your time and expertise are greatly appreciated, Chris
mattice
I think Thomas (Team member) has build a shop with over 250.000 items that has been running for a long time now. I know for a fact hundreds of shops out there use over 10.000 items without any problems. But don't expect it to run smoothly on a $9.95 pm shared hosting account.. :D "Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them"
