New Info Box

Hello all,

 

I'm working on a new site using version 2.3.1 for an offroad motorcycle store.

 

I would like to add a new box, which will direct users to Adobe (.pdf) or Word (.doc) documents about each type of motorcycle, which will be stored in the sites documents folder.

 

I'd envisaged a menu tree, which would need 5 levels.

 

Level 1 would be

 

=>User Manuals

=>Parts Fiches

=>General Repair/Maintenance Advice

 

Level 2 would split the above by Manufacturer, probably 4 to 5

 

Level 3 would split the above by bike type, usually 3 or 4 types

 

Level 4 would split the above by Model

 

and level 5 - by year that model was manufactured.

 

This box would not be required to pass any info/variables to the e-commerce functions, it will just provide a logical way for users to source info about their bike.

 

Does anyone have any clues how I can achieve this

Start with the Document Manager Addon. It's designed to work with products and categories in the store, so you will need to make some modifications to make it use your menu tree.
