1. I have absolutely no understanding about how themes are stored in osCommerce. I there any method that I can transfer a theme from v2.2 RC2a to v2.3.1?

2. In what method are the passwords hashed into the database in v2.2 RC2a. I need to reset the password through the database and need to know if the MD5 algorithm is used or a different one and if a cake is used to harden the password?

1. always a way, its just a case of altering the tables for grid 960, images are stored in the images folder, stores that are templates may have a different structure.

2. md5

Where are these tables stored?

How do I go on if the store is a template?

They form part of the .php file, like <Table> <tr><td>

in 2.2 rc2a the images are in teh images folder, the tables arestored in the php files, and then linked to class .php files, and of course the stylesheet.css

2.3.1 is different in that it has J Query built in and uses CSS instead of tables (mostly) and utlizes the 960 gird system

So I guess the best approach would be to upgrade manually?
