Automatic order cutoff dates

Newbie here, still building my store in 2.3.1 I'm starting a small home meal delivery business with limited weekly menus. I want to have an automatic cutoff date and time for ordering beyond which a customer cannot add items to their cart; i.e., order by 5:00pm ET [day and date] of a given week for delivery the following week. Haven't found a Contribution/add-on to do that, and hope it can be done without coding. I'm no coder. I can edit HTML. Searching the huge number of contributions is daunting to say the least and maybe I missed what I'm looking for.

Bruce,

That IS a custom coding job. There is a delivery date selection contribution but it does not incorporate a 'cut off' so you would have to create one for it, more than likely use a cron job to trigger it. Sorry, I couldn't offer better news.

Well, drat. Thanks Burt but I don't think I have the ability to do what you describe. However, I'll download that contribution and see if I tinker around anyway. Where is this "date-default_timezone_set"?

OK, you add-on developers, get cracking! I need this by the end of the month! :)

If nothing else I'll just remove the menu items manually at the end of each week. But I hate to rely on remembering to do that!
