Can OScommerce do this?

I want to make a commerce site where the users can buy and sell stuff between eachother and we get a commission on each sale.

 

So the user makes an account and it has a balance etc... then they put something up for sale and when it sales, we credit their account on our servers with their cut and they can choose to use it to buy stuff on the site or withdraw it. It's basically a custom eBay for a very niche market but with no auction option. Just users buying and selling things between each other.

 

Let me know if OScommerce can do something like this of let me know if there is anything out there that can... thanks a lot!

oscommerce can be modded to do most things, but in many cases its better to find a software specifically made for a specific purpose.

 

I think that this is such a case and that you would be better off with a marketplace/classified software instead.

 

But if you decide to modify oscommerce to be able to do this, then this add on can be an ok starting-point: Customer Add Product
