Hello all,

I am relatively new to osCommerce as I have only used it once before.

How can I offer multiple variations of a product, for example colour and size.

I found the following website in the osCommerce showcase. How did they achieve this with their t-shirts?

http://shops.oscommerce.com/directory/goto,40908

Many thanks,

Many thanks,

Oscommerce has Attributes which you can assign color size and costing to. There are also Attribute managers and helpers which allows you track quantities based on multiple attributes.

The base version of oscommerce would only keep track of the quantity of product not the quantity of the product based on size or color.

By default if you list a Smily Face T-Shirt and assign attributes, oscommerce would only track how many Smily Face T-shirts you have. With the manager you would know how many White or Black, XL, L, M, S t-shirts you have.

Hope that helps.

Thanks that is helpful.

Can you recommend a good attribute manager which would do this?

Sorry I can not I have not used any since the release version of OSC went to 2.3. I'm not sure which ones still work, and or are compatible. Maybe somebody else can help there.

Good Luck

Okay, thanks anyhow at least I know what I need to look for now.

Even though it might not be compatible any more, do you remember which one you used prior to 2.3?

Thanks
