Help Please !

Hi everyone, please be patient with me i'm totally new to OSC :)

 

I'm helping a friend build his online store and everything was going really well until. I tried to add new info boxes.

 

I'm using the STS system however nothing I seem to do works. I've read the instructions over and over and it's just not sinking in !

 

All we want to do is put the button for our live chat in a box on the left hand side. Everything I've tried so far just causes to cart to crash. Even when I add the HTML code to the template were using, which I find really strange as we've edited that for the logo and everything worked, every time I touch it now I loose the shop ??

 

I know im doing something wrong but I just can't get my head around it !!

 

Can anybody help me ? I need some simple instructions to follow.

 

Really appreciate any help anyone can offer me, I'm banging my head against a wall here :)

I don't know anything about STS, but I can tell your site is a hack just waiting to happen....

How to Secure Your Site

 

Pay close attention to "SECURING THE ADMIN" - Yours is vulnerable.

 

It's easier to do a few security fixes now than to clean up a hacked store later.

 

And if you don't secure the admin your shop will be hacked.

 

It's just a question of when...
