I'm quite desperate.

My hosting want to chage php 5.2 to php 5.3... I got a 6year long experience with OSC, but this time I'm stucked.

I tried to put my files to the new server and nothing works, a lot of ereg "deprecated". I expected this and with the right contribution now they are ok, BUT...

NO WAY to login again, customers side o admin side... no errors in my logs, no errors on screen... simply I noted that sessionid change everytime... strange, isn't it?

CAN ANYONE HELP ME? Anyone with the same problem solved?

Hosting provider is pressing me to close my 5.2 shop for the new one...

Ciao

I would recommend upgrading your store to V2.3. If that is too much for you for now, then at least apply all the security and bug fixes in this upgrade guide.

http://www.oscommerce.info/confluence/display/OSCDOC22/Upgrade+Guide

That will take care of the core oscommerce code, you will need to attend to your add-ons after that.

In your store admin under "Sessions"

Set "Recreate Sessions" and "Force cookie usage" to False

That was the only way I could get the customer side to work

Not sure about the admin side problem, suggest you undo the changes you made on page 3 of the update document (A) (SEC) Administration Tool Log-In Update. I left mine as it was and it works OK

Not sure about the admin side problem,

Ciao Martin,

I'll try in next days, server is updating, fortunately it's not finished yet, I got some days to find a solution.

The problem in the admin zone maybe the same. There too sessions are new every time page reload.

If this will not be enough, I'll upgrade to 2.3, fixes and other upgrade are last option at the moment, but I'll did them soon.

Thanks
