Hearer missing

I have searched but can't find a solution. My store has no header, logo, etc. painting at all. The top of the page is the breadcrumb bar. The rest of the page shows up just fine. Where do I look to see what is wrong?

Thanks,

Bruce

2.2 or 2.3, have you done any modifications, if so what?

My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0

I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 )

I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary

It's 2.2, have Main Categories and Guest Accounts mods, but little else.

I have another nearly identical store with headers working just fine. So I think if I knew which files to compare I could probably solve this pretty easily.

in 2.2 the header.php is called on each of the main pages, usually the first require of the body.

If the header appears on the rest of the main pages checkout_xxx, contact_us, etc then you've lost your:

</head>
<body marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" topmargin="0" bottommargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0">
<!-- header //-->
<?php require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'header.php'); ?>
<!-- header_eof //-->

If however the above code is there then you have a problem with header.php which is in the includes folder

There is no header on any page. However, I compared both index.php and header.php for two sites I have, and they are identical; but the other site does load the header while this one does not. So there must be something else going on.

Here is the header.php file. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Problem solved. After the help I got on where to look, I compared header.php in the errant store and in one that works fine. They were identical. So the problem had to be something other than the code. I looked more closely at the header file and found out that the logo file name it was calling did not exist! I added the right logo file, and voila, things look as they should.

Thanks to Xpajun for getting me thinking!

Glad you got it sorted - very often, without a link, getting you thinking and looking in the approximate direction is the best we can do ;)
