Davefromcornwall
Hi all, My category box header disappears when I look at my site in IE6. It looks fine in Firefox 3.6. My site's here: http://www.woofsandwags.co.uk/ As you'll see when you go to the site, I've changed a fair amount on the site, including sticking a slideshow on the front page, which involved a bit of a bodge (sticking a script inside <head></head> tags)! I hope this isn't the problem, as I quite like how it looks at the moment (apart from in IE6, obviously!). If someone who knows more about this than I do could give me some pointers, I'd be grateful, as this is about the last bit I want to sort out before starting to fill the site up with producta. Cheers, Dave
Davefromcornwall
Well it's not my bodged slideshow that's causing the problem, as I replaced the current index.php (with my bodges) with a backed up version (without my bodges) and the category box header was still not there in IE6. This is frustrating. Any ideas would be gratefully received, as I've run out of 'em.
Davefromcornwall
Another IE6 oddity is that the pop-up lightbox images don't have the next/previous arrows or the X to close the lightbox, whereas the arrows and X show up fine in Firefox. Could these two problems be linked in some way, or is it just two separate IE6 quirks?
burt
Does anyone still use IE6 (other than you Dave) ?
Davefromcornwall
Does anyone still use IE6 (other than you Dave) ? Hi Gary, Well, I don't know the extent of the problem, because I am still on XP and don't use IE at all, if I can help it. But it might be the same in the later versions of IE, for all I know. If it's crap on IE6, but fine in later versions of IE, then I won't worry about it too much, but if it's all versions of IE, then it's a problem, isn't it? Have you got a later version of IE? Can you see the category box header? How about the fancybox arrows?
