Recommended Posts

Hello,

i have installed os commerce 2.3.1 and installed greek language in utf-8. Also changed the db encoding to utf-8. All seems ok at the website and all the greek chars are shown ok in the db and in the site. When i try to checkout a product through paypal wherever the greek fonts are i get strange chars. I've read that paypal uses utf-8 encoding so i cannot understand what the problem is.

i attach the image.

Any ideas to solve this out?

check the PayPal option, as you can set the PayPal checkout pages in different encoding, make sure it match your website encoding.

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
